Success for Talisman at 2010 Brisbane Royal Show |

Talisman put in an excellent performance to take out 2nd place in the hotly contested Australian Stock Horse Stallion Hack Class at the 2010 Brisbane Royal Show. With over 15 stallions competing, there was some hot competition. A swollen hind fetlock resulted in the disappointing decision to scratch him from the rest of his classes! |

Talisman - Champion Hack at MARC Winter Hack Show |

Talisman continues his success in the performance arena with a top showing at the recent MARC Winter Hack Show on 31 July, 2010. Talisman won his Led Stallion Class and then went on to win every ridden Class entered on the day (Novice Hack, Open Hack, Hack for Geldings/Stallions, Hunter Hack. Talisman also carried Kate Thorne to win the Lady Rider 30 and Over and then took out both the Champion Hack and Champion Rider Awards. |

Highplains Jasmin - Two Handed Cutting Success |

Highplains Jasmin has put in two credible performances in the Fraser Coast Two Handed Cutting Series and is now standing in 4th Place Overall on the leaderboard following two rounds of the competition. At the recent Round 2 Comp, Jasmin put in a top performanceto take out 5th place from a lineup of 40 horses. |

Highplains Drifter - Success in the Dressage Arena 2010 |

Talismans eldest son, Highplains Drifter, continues to excel under saddle in the capable hands of Leandra Hulst. Following his many successes in the Hack Ring this year, "BJ" recently competed at the Fraser Coast Official Dressage Competition at the end of May, 2010 and came home with two x Second Placings and a Fourth amidst some very good competition.
At the Fraser Coast Regional Show, Leandra and BJ were named Champion Novice Hack on Open Hack Day and Champion Novice Hack and Reserve Champion District Hack on District Day.
